Gill Sailing Yellow Dot Fabric Guide
We realise how confusing the subject of performance fabrics can be. There is so much technical jargon and very little explanation. In response, we have created our Yellow Dot™ Classification System to simply explain the attributes of the fabric. For example, a 2 Dot™ fabric has good breathability and good durability and is ideal for dinghy sailing. Don't be fooled by the simplicity however, because we search the world for the most technical fabrics and then rigorously test them in the field and the laboratory before we assign them a Dot™ rating.
